SFP-DD QSFP-DD OSFP Adapter
Adapter is compatible with OSFP, SFP (SFP+, SFP28, SFP112, SFP-DD, SFP-DD112) and QSFP (QSFP+, QSFP28, QSFP-DD, QFP-DD800) modules. It works with REVELPROG-IS programmer. Connection tape is in set.
This is more advanced version of SFP QSFP XFP adapter. Standard SFP and QSFP connectors are replaced with new SFP-DD and QSFP-DD connectors (which are backward compatible with SFP and QSFP). Old standard XFP is replaced with new OSFP connector. All important logic signals are available on external pins. All connectors are equipped with metal cages. New adapter is powered from USB-C instead of USB-C so it can deliver power for more power consuming transceivers.
OSFP SFP QSFP adapter allows programming and clonning unprotected and protected* SFP / SFP+ / SFP28 / SFP112 / SFP-DD / SFP-DD112, QSFP / QSFP+ / QSFP28 / QSFP-DD / QSFP-DD800 and OSFP modules. It is possible to read/write module in MSA standard, change configuration area (manufacturer name, part name, serial number, configuration bytes etc.) , calculate checksums and write new config to the module. You can make compatible any OEM manufacturer module with your ethernet device, e.g. buy OEM module, programm it with other manufacturers config and make compatible with any switch or router. Please check memory organization for MSA Standard transceivers for more details how internal memory is organized.
*Since REVELPROG-IS v1.8.2 (>2020) there is also possibility to write protected transceivers (if you know manufacturer password). There is also search password tool which allows in some cases to hack password using brute-force method. Please check short tutorial on forum: Writing protected SFP QSFP XFP transceivers
* Since REVELPROG-IS v1.9.1 (>2023) there is support for new type of transceivers: OSFP, SFP-DD and QSFP-DD. If you have REVELPROG-IS programmer with older version - don't worry - you can update it to latest version.
Please note: REVELPROG-IS is not included, you need to buy it separately. You can use also any other programmer which support transceivers because adapter has communication lines available on external pins.
